Ace Binding Supplies (ACE) established in May 1998 through the far sightedness of the late Mr. Edward Lee, the founder of the company.

During his 15 years of employment with EAC graphics (now Heidelberg Malaysia), he was the top sales person for seven consecutive years. He gained his vast networking, both local and international market in the printing industry. He was also one of the used printing equipment valuer and advisor highly sought after by customers, resellers and the financial institutions.

He ventured into his own company for trading of printing equipment. However, starting a business which involves huge capital outlay was not an easy task at that particular time where there was financial crisis. Banks and other financial institutions were very careful of granting end financing for new projects. With his experience and business acumen, he came out with the idea of distribution of consumable items to the existing industry. He envisioned that there is a good potential to supplying finished end user product for the printers and binders, with the minimum risk and high redundancy of re-orders.

Loose-leaf binding materials were mostly imported at that time and the thought of bringing the technology of producing such related products to the shore of Malaysia should help to reduce costs and ease availability.

ACE humble beginning began in a rented premise in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. Looking forward till his demised in February 2012, ACE now operates in its own factory building in Sunway Damansara Technology Park, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
